October 6, 2016

Ed Ganey, Jacqueline Smith, Jeanne Brown, Terry Kocsis, and Frederic Gottschalk represented the Board while Kathy Zappavigna was an invited guest and Mike Engler was also invited but could not attend. Our Business Manager Suzi King attended the meeting.

Meeting was held on Thursday October 6, 2016 at 7 PM at the home of Frederic Gottschalk.

It was determined that no one would have to stand for election in 2016.  Ed Ganey and Jackie Smith will stand for election in 2017 and Frederic Gottschalk in 2019.  Entrance was decorated with Fall features by Jeannie Brown and volunteers.  Board approved of payment for four hours of work in dead heading flowers and general clean up of the Entrance.  We received a bid for $500 to paint the lamp posts in the Entrance and the Board approved.

Board approved of having two more members added to the Board which will have to be voted on at the Annual Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 6:30 PM at Saddlebrook Elementary School.

Terry Kocsis presented additional changes in language to bids for Lawncare and snow removal prospects.  We hope to have bids made by December 1 and a decision about bidding completed by mid January 2017.

Suzi King stated there were no significant delinquencies in dues paying presently.  Suzi was instructed to present income and expenses covering actual results January through October and estimates during November and December for distribution during the Annual Meeting in November.

Next Board meeting will be held on Thursday November 3, 2016 at 7 PM.

ALL Voted of the Board were unanimous after a full and detailed discussion.  Our HOA Covenants only allow signs dealing with sales of homes which should be less than six square feet in total.  Political sign are not allowed in the yards but the Board will not ban political signs displayed in a window of a unit.  Board had previously approved of a “Private Property” at Joni and Arnold Wunder’s property at 15707 Hartman Ave where people have not picked up dog poop and other litter has been discovered.  Board has decided a sign may be displayed where workmen are doing roofs and other repairs but signs should be removed when the work is finished.

Respectfully submitted,

Frederic Gottschalk
HOA President
